CPR Basics – Every Second Counts!If someone collapses and stops breathing, immediate CPR can double or triple survival chances!🚨 Follow these 3 crucial steps:1️⃣ Check for responsiveness – Tap their shoulders and shout, “Are you okay?” If they don’t respond and aren’t breathing or only gasping, act fast!2️⃣ Call for help – Dial CMR: 082 782 4444 / 021 782 4444 and send someone to get an AED if available.3️⃣ Start Chest Compressions:🔹 Place the heel of one hand in the centre of the chest.🔹 Place your other hand on top, interlock your fingers, and keep your elbows straight.🔹 Push hard & fast, at a depth of at least 5-6 cm, at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute (think of the beat to “Stayin’ Alive”).🔹 Let the chest fully recoil between compressions.🔹 Continue hands-only CPR until help arrives.🔴 Don’t stop until emergency help arrives or the person shows signs of life.🚨 FOR EMERGENCIES CALL CMR: 082 782 4444 / 021 782 4444#CPRSavesLives #CMR #EmergencyResponse

Motor Vehicle Accident – Ou Kaapse WegAt 11:00 this morning, CMR responded to a call reporting a collision involving three vehicles on Ou Kaapse Weg.On arrival, our teams found that two of the drivers had escaped injury.
