To ensure that any social, community or sporting event runs smoothly without any major problems, most prudent event organizers insist that qualified medical personal are on hand to assist in the event of any unforeseen medical emergencies. For most public events in Cape Town, the City of Cape Town require that a detailed Emergency & Evacuation Plan be approved by the Cape Town Disaster Risk Managements Events Office, prior to the commencement of the event. CMR is regularly involved in providing medical support, staff, equipment and vehicles to a range of both short- and long-term events.
