[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”13353″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]CMR has partnered with the False Bay Hospital Trust (FBHT) to provide emergency medical transport to False Bay Hospital (FBH) for individuals who need urgent and critical medical attention, and:

  • where the Provincial ambulance service is unavailable to assist in time.
  • where the patient cannot afford to pay private ambulance fees.

The FBHT is an independent non-profit Trust which relies on donors to fund the upgrade and advancement of healthcare at FBH. FBH is the only public hospital in the Far South, and CMR is the only advanced life-support emergency medical service provider based in the area. All parties have a strong history of community involvement.

To pay for all or part of the emergency ambulance transport costs for low-income community members, FBHT  launched ComFund. As a registered Public Benefit Organisation, donors will receive an appropriate tax certificate from FBHT.
